A PROGRAM DESIGNED BY EXPERTS TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEMS FACED BY MOST OF THE STUDENTS. Problem solving is one of major aspect in mathematics which require students to apply and to integrate many mathematical concepts as well as making decision. However, students were reported to have difficulties in mathematics problem solving. Most of the students lacked in many mathematics skills such as number-fact, visual-spatial and information skills. Information skill was the most critical. This understanding on how the crunch prejudiced the problem-solving is predictable to give effective guide lines in developing diagnostic instruments and learning components in order to develop the mathematics skills. The deficiency of these mathematical skills and also of thinking abilities in learning inhibits the mathematics problem-solving. Some common challenges faced by students in mathematics, are the following:

• 1. Mistakes such as number additions, substitutions, transpositions, omissions, and recalling numbers.
• 2. Inconsistent results in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• 3. Difficulty remembering math facts, concepts, rules, formulas, sequences, and procedures.
• 4. Inconsistent mastery of math facts.
• 5. Difficulty following sequential methods and directions in mathematical steps.
• 6. Confusing operations signs or performing them in wrong order.
• 7. Inability to visualize.
• 8. Slowness in understanding math concepts in word problems.
• 9. Difficulty keeping score during games.
• 10. Limited strategic planning ability.

To address these problems HAVISHA INSTITUTE coming with a 30 day’s summer camp program, which is more helpful to students. This program contains most essential basic mathematics concepts which are useful while problem solving as well as daily life mathematical problems.
